Qualitative vs. Quantitative Outcomes

Quantitative Outcomes: observational information that can be counted. Another way of expressing outcomes in a quantitative way is to compare your actual outcomes against a comparison group in a like setting or a similar program.

Qualitative Outcomes: observational information that can be used to describe how your project functions and what it means to the people involved. Some examples of qualitative outcomes include photographs (with captions), case studies, and testimonial quotes.
